Privacy Policy

 

​I take your privacy seriously. I receive, collect, and store the information you enter on the website or provide us in any other way. This could be anything from subscribing to the website, to completing a Physical Activity Readiness Form. I collect this information for the following reasons: to provide our users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support; to provide and operate the services; to be able to contact our visitors and users with general notices and promotional messages; to comply with any applicable laws and regulations, such as UK Data Protection Act 2018 (UK DPTA 2018). At any time, if you don’t want me to process your data anymore, please contact me at jess@jessoliver-pt.com. I might change this policy from time to time, but we will notify you here that it has been updated so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances if any, we use and/or disclose it.

Terms of Service Policy

This website is owned and operated by Jess Oliver Personal Training. These Terms set forth the terms of service under which you may use our website and services as offered. This website offers visitors health and well-being advice. By accessing or using the website or services, you approve that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.​

Promotional emails and content

You agree to receive from time-to-time promotional messages and materials from us, by mail, email or any other contact form you may provide (including your phone number for calls, text or WhatsApp messages). If you don't want to receive such promotional materials or notices – please just notify me. 

Cancellations, Amendments and Fees

We appreciate that sometimes life gives you lemons and I will be as understanding as possible if your circumstances change and you need to cancel. However, it's tricky to fill appointments at the last minute. To discourage this, and to make communication paramount, I reserve the right to charge 75% of the full fee if cancellation occurs within 24 hours of your appointment time. If appointments are cancelled within 48 hours, you’ll receive 100% of your fee back, minus any processing fees. All outdoor sessions take place come rain or shine, unless the Park Authorities close the Park. In the rare event a session has to be rescheduled, you will be notified by email or phone giving as much notice as possible. Fees need to be paid in advance of all sessions and are non-refundable. All vouchers have a 9-month expiry from the date of purchase unless previous arrangements have been made before the expiry date. 

Accidents and Injuries

If you injure yourself or have an accident during a session, you must report this and all details will be logged in our Incident Record Book. I do not accept liability for the injury or death of any person(s) that may happen whilst training with me, other than the liability which arises from our negligence or our failure to take reasonable care and provide accurate instructions relating to your well-being, health and safety. I understand that injuries happen and we will endeavour to rearrange sessions once you are back to full fitness.
